Procheta Sen has joined as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the WI group. She will be supervised by Prof. Emine Yilmaz. She has recently completed her PhD from Dublin City University, Ireland. Her PhD topic was Proactive Information Retrieval (PIR), which involves investigating automatically anticipating a user’s information need from her activity context and suggesting relevant information without the user requiring to submit queries explicitly. In WI, she is working on task-based information retrieval systems.
